I REALLY like this song by Mike Taylor: the title, the lyrics, the flow, the video, the fedoras, the beach, the message. “Searchin For Summer” is the feel good song that I have been searching for, and finally brings along a different quality that I can’t quite put my finger on; Mike Taylor seems to have an old school soulful sound that somehow reminds me of a hyped up electro/dubstep/indie sounding Luther Vandross song. It’s chill, refreshing, and I feel like I’m always searchin for summer, so I love the visuals in the video.
